Arab Strap

Arab Strap, born in Scotland, is known for candid narratives in a thick Scottish brogue, blending drum machines and sparse guitars. A key part of Glasgow's scene, they gained acclaim in the '90s and 2000s. The duo, Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton, evolved from the somber *Philophobia* to more polished works like *The Red Thread*. After solo successes, they reunited for the album *As Days Get Dark* in 2021.
