Born in Havana, Cuba, Pedrito Martinez is a renowned percussionist known for Afro-Cuban and Yoruba traditions. In NYC, he collaborated with stars like Wynton Marsalis, Paul Simon, and Sting. He founded The Pedrito Martinez Group in 2008, earning a Grammy nomination. Notable works include "Habana Dreams" with Ruben Blades and "Duologue" with Alfredo Rodriguez, produced by Quincy Jones.
