The Atomic Punks, formed in Pasadena, California in 1994, are a renowned tribute band celebrating the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen. They are celebrated for faithfully recreating the hard rock sound and electrifying stage presence of early Van Halen. David Lee Roth himself endorsed them as "The best tribute to Van Halen EVER!". Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony has also performed with them. The band has been recognized as "Best Tribute Band" by LA's "Rock City News" multiple times.
