Augusta Symphony

The Augusta Symphony is an American professional orchestra based in Augusta, Georgia. Founded in 1954 under the direction of Harry M. Jacobs, the ensemble has grown from a small group of 15 musicians to a prominent regional symphony orchestra based at the historic Miller Theater. Under the leadership of Music Director Dirk Meyer, the orchestra performs annual symphonic, pops, and family concert series alongside extensive community music education and outreach programs across the Central Savannah River Area.
