Italian band New Candys blend gritty rock'n'roll with dreamy tones. Known for intense live shows and surreal themes, they've toured globally and shared stages with icons like Iggy Pop.
Holy Wave, formed by childhood friends in El Paso, evolved from dreamy psychedelia to sophisticated melodies. Relocating to Austin, they thrived in touring and adventurous songwriting, reflected in their album Five of Cups.
The Flaming Lips, formed in 1983 in Oklahoma City, are acclaimed for their psychedelic, experimental alternative rock. Known for hits like "She Don't Use Jelly," they gained fame in the '90s and won a Grammy for 2002's "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots." Collaborations include Miley Cyrus and Kacey Musgraves. Notable albums are "The Soft Bulletin" and "American Head," showcasing their unique sound and emotional depth.
Thee Sacred Souls, a young band from San Diego, is known for their soulful sound and exquisite craftsmanship. With millions of Spotify listeners, they've impressed celebrity fans like SZA and Alicia Keys. Their NPR Tiny Desk performance was a hit, marking them as rising stars in just two years.
Money Chicha, from San Antonio, blends psychedelic cumbia and chicha with danceable Latin psych-rock, fueled by congas, synths, and rich percussion for a unique, vibrant sound.
Strange Lot, born in Phoenix and now Austin-based, crafts psychedelic rock with immersive soundscapes. Known for their Greenway Records debut, they've toured with Boogarins and shared stages with The Black Angels and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
