Swedish metal band Avatar, formed in Mölndal in 2001, delivers theatrical melodic death, alternative, and groove metal. Known for their circus-like stage presence and Johannes Eckerström's "Joker-esque" persona, they released "Don't Go in the Forest" in 2025. Popular songs include "The Dirt I'm Buried In," a US rock radio chart-topper, and "Bloody Angel."

SpiritWorld

SpiritWorld, formed in Las Vegas in 2017, delivers "death-western" metal. Led by Stu Folsom, their sound blends thrash, death metal, hardcore, and outlaw country with horror-western themes. Notable albums include "Pagan Rhythms," "DEATHWESTERN," and "Helldorado." They are known for tracks like "Relic of Damnation" and "Oblivion," and collaborations with artists such as Zach Blair (Rise Against). Folsom's writings often inspire their unique musical universe.

Alien Weaponry

New Zealand’s Alien Weaponry blends thrash metal with te reo Māori lyrics, gaining global fame for albums like "Tū" and "Tangaroa". They've shared stages with Guns N' Roses and Slayer.
