Azymuth

Azymuth, a Brazilian jazz-funk trio formed in the '70s, blends electric jazz, samba, and funk. Known for "Jazz Carnival," they've influenced generations with their innovative style. Their hit albums include "Light as a Feather" and they collaborated with DJs like Theo Parrish. Original members José Roberto Bertrami, Alex Malheiros, and Ivan Conti reshaped jazz-fusion. Post-Bertrami's death, Kiko Continentino joined. They're celebrated globally and part of "Jazz Is Dead" series with Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.
