Basura is a musical co-written by Grammy Award winner Gloria Estefan and Emily Estefan. Inspired by Paraguay's Recycled Orchestra, it explores themes of rhythm, resilience, and hope, showcasing how music can emerge from unexpected places. The production features a book by National Latino Playwriting Award winner Karen Zacarías and direction by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif. It is known for its powerful story of community and the transformative power of art.
