Becca Harvey, known as girlpuppy, makes indie pop blending shoegaze, dream-pop, and early-2000s pop-rock. After 2022 debut When I’m Alone, she built Sweetness from her own lyrical and melodic ideas with producer/co-writer Alex Farrar.

Launder

Southern California native John Cudlip records as Launder, debuting with 2018’s Pink Cloud EP, produced by Day Wave’s Jackson Phillips with DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith. Signed to Ghostly International in 2019; first album recorded in Van Nuys at New Monkey Studio.

Beach Fossils, founded by Dustin Payseur in 2009, are a defining New York underground band blending jangly melancholy, dream pop, post-punk, and psychedelia. Self-produced/self-released, they’ve released Beach Fossils, What a Pleasure, Clash the Truth, Somersault, and Bunny.
