He released solo albums like "The Lone Rhino" and collaborated with artists such as Les Claypool and Danny Carey. He was also the musical director for David Bowie's "Sound and Vision" tour. In the 2000s, Belew was involved with King Crimson and launched innovative music apps, FLUX and FLUX:FX.
Bass virtuoso Tony Levin, born in Boston, is acclaimed for work with Peter Gabriel and King Crimson. Known for his expressive style, he’s collaborated with Lou Reed, Paul Simon, and Yes. Levin innovated with the Chapman Stick and Funk Fingers. His solo work includes Waters of Eden and Resonator, where he debuted as a singer-songwriter.
Steve Vai, born in Carle Place, NY, is a Grammy-winning guitar virtuoso known for innovative rock compositions.
