Los Angeles-bred alternative artist Beck broke out with 1994’s “Loser” and pushed genre-blending on Odelay (1996). Morning Phase won the Grammy for Album of the Year, and he’s collaborated with Jenny Lewis, Pharrell Williams, and Paul McCartney.
Japanese Breakfast’s fourth album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), is the band’s first proper studio release. Produced by Grammy winner Blake Mills and tracked at Sound City in Los Angeles, it’s led by frontwoman and songwriter Michelle Zauner.
Sir Chloe, an American indie rock project led by Dana Foote, formed in Bennington, Vermont. Known for blending alternative rock, grunge, and pop with theatrical influences, they gained fame with "Michelle." Popular songs include "Animal" and "Too Close." Albums include "Party Favors" (2020), "I Am the Dog" (2023), and "Swallow the Knife" (2025). They are recognized for intense live performances and and have toured extensively.
Phoenix, from Versailles, France, won a Grammy for "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" and a Victoires award for "Bankrupt!". They're known for sleek sounds and hit festivals like Coachella.
