Before the Dawn

Before the Dawn is a Finnish melodic death metal band, formed in 1999 by Tuomas Saukkonen. Known for melancholic melodies and crushing riffs, they gained recognition with albums like "Deadlight" and "Soundscape of Silence". Paavo Laapotti joined as vocalist. Their album "Stormbringers" and song "Deadsong" achieved chart success. Tuomas Saukkonen earned Finnish Metal Awards for "Best Instrumentalist".
