Jarle Bernhoft is a guitarist and songwriter from just north of Oslo, Norway. Formerly lead singer of rock quartet Span, he went solo in 2005, using live looping to build soul/R&B arrangements. First non-American Grammy nominee for Best R&B Album.

Ryoji Ikeda

Japanese artist Ryoji Ikeda is known for intense, precise sound and light works blending minimalist electronic, techno, and classical music. He's acclaimed for global concerts, installations, and collaborations with Alva Noto and Christian Marclay.
