Beth Gibbons and Bill Ryder-Jones

Merseyside-born English multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer/songwriter Bill Ryder-Jones was lead guitarist of the Coral (1996–2008). He scored films like Bed and Piggy, and released solo albums If... (2011) and West Kirby County Primary (2016).

Beth Gibbons, born in Exeter, England, is known for her emotive vocals with Portishead, a pioneering trip-hop band. Her voice recalls legends like Nina Simone. Her notable works include "Dummy," "Sour Times," and collaborations like "Symphony of Sorrowful Songs." She has worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Jane Birkin. Portishead's "Dummy" won the 1995 Mercury Prize, and their album "Third" hit gold in the UK. Gibbons' solo work includes "Out of Season" with Rustin Man and 2023's "Lives Outgrown."
