Serbian-born blues guitarist and singer Ana Popovic, now based in L.A., is renowned for fiery Stratocaster skills. With 7 Blues Music Awards nominations, she’s shared stages with legends like B.B. King and Jeff Beck, and many of her albums topped Billboard Blues Charts. Featured in major guitar magazines, she celebrates 20 years of electrifying global performances.
San Jose-born Tommy Castro is known for his potent blend of blues, rock, and soul. He gained acclaim with albums like Hard Believer and won multiple Blues Music Awards, including B.B. King Entertainer of the Year. Collaborating with artists like Tom Hambridge and Christoffer "Kid" Andersen, his raw, energetic performances and albums like A Bluesman Came to Town have topped the charts. Notable collaborations include Charlie Musselwhite and Los Lobos' David Hidalgo. Castro's music is deeply inspired by legends like B.B. King and Otis Redding.
Elvin Bishop, born in Glendale, CA, is a blues-rock guitarist recognized for fusing blues with gospel, R&B, and country. A former Paul Butterfield Blues Band member, his solo hit "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" peaked at No. 3. He has collaborated with legends like B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix and earned a Grammy nomination for "100 Years of Blues" with Charlie Musselwhite. His work spans decades, including albums like "Let It Flow," "Red Dog Speaks," and "Something Smells Funky 'Round Here."
Chris Cain, a San Jose-born blues guitarist, blends B.B. King influences with an energetic style. Known for "Late Night City Blues," he's been revered by peers like Joe Bonamassa. Cain's albums, including "Cuttin' Loose" and "Raisin' Cain," boosted his acclaim, earning W.C. Handy nominations. He's collaborated with Robben Ford and Larry Carlton, and his 2017 self-titled album marked a career resurgence. Signed to Alligator Records, Cain continues to enchant blues fans worldwide.

Featuring Elvin Bishop, Ana Popovic, Tommy Castro, Chris Cain, DK Harrell, and Special Guests TBA. Help us celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Concord Pavilion (now the Toyota Pavilion). This is a benefit concert to support music for kids of all ages and skill levels.

Anniversaries Celebrated

It is also the 50th Anniversary of Blue Bear School of Music with 3 bay area locations and is regarded as the original "School of Rock".

Ticket Proceeds

All ticket proceeds will be shared with the Blue Bear School of Music and the Jeffrey Marshall Arts Foundation that provides financial support and resources for disabled musicians.
