Rhiannon Giddens, a GRAMMY-winning artist, blends folk with deep history and modern flair. Born in North Carolina, she co-founded Carolina Chocolate Drops and leads the Silkroad Ensemble. Known for her collaborations with Francesco Turrisi and the Silkroad Ensemble, Giddens has also won a Pulitzer Prize. She hosts a PBS show and two podcasts, and is set to launch the Biscuits & Banjos festival.

Herbie Hancock, born in Chicago, is a pioneering jazz musician known for his work with the Miles Davis Quintet and blending jazz, funk, and rock in albums like "Headhunters."
