Bobby Previte, a Niagara Falls, NY-born drummer, composer, and bandleader, is a seminal figure of the 1980s New York 'Downtown' scene. He explores notated and improvised music, blending jazz, rock, and experimental styles, leading diverse ensembles. Previte received the 2015 Greenfield Prize and a 2012 Guggenheim Fellowship. He has collaborated with John Adams, Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, and John Zorn. His albums include "Second Arrow" and "Visitor I: Parlor Organ".
