The Minnesota Orchestra, founded in 1903 as the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, is acclaimed for its classical performances, Grammy Award, and global tours. Celebrated for works like "Hungarian Dances" and his "Lullaby," he is considered one of classical music's "Three Bs" alongside Bach and Beethoven, leaving an enduring legacy.
Born in Athens, Leonidas Kavakos is a renowned violinist and conductor known for Sibelius and Beethoven performances. He’s collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, and led Camerata Salzburg.
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), born in Eisenach, Germany, was a pivotal Baroque composer. Renowned for his mastery of counterpoint and polyphony, he enriched German styles with Italian and French influences. His prolific output includes iconic works like the Brandenburg Concertos, The Well-Tempered Clavier, Mass in B Minor, and Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Bach is celebrated as one of history's greatest composers, whose genius continues to inspire.
