Drowning Pool are an alternative/nu-metal band formed in 1996 after relocating from New Orleans to Dallas. They broke through with the platinum debut Sinner (2001) and hit single "Bodies." After vocalist Dave Williams died in 2002, they continued with rotating singers.

Buckcherry

Formed in 1995, Buckcherry are hard rock throwbacks led by singer Josh Todd. Their 1999 self-titled debut spawned the #1 rock hit "Lit Up." The 2006 album 15 went platinum with "Crazy Bitch" and Top Ten single "Sorry."
