Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., their albums such as Let Me Come Over and Big Red Letter Day gained critical acclaim. After a hiatus, they returned with albums like Quiet and Peace and Jump Rope. The band has maintained periodic touring and musical evolution, with Bill Janovitz also achieving success as a writer with books on the Rolling Stones and Leon Russell.
