LineUp

Yo La Tengo, formed in 1984 by Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley, is an indie rock band known for noisy yet melodic sounds and diverse inspirations like Velvet Underground and Sun Ra. Key albums include *Fakebook*, *Painful*, and *I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One*. They've collaborated with Ray Davies and David Byrne, and produce and record their music independently. Notable performances include Hanukkah shows and the Frantic City festival.
Boise indie rockers Built to Spill, led by Doug Martsch, blend Pavement-style pop with Neil Young’s expansive jams. Known for live unpredictability, they gained acclaim with 1994's "There's Nothing Wrong with Love" and major-label success with albums like "Perfect from Now On." Martsch's indie guitar hero status and evolving band lineup fuel their signature sound. Collaborations include Caustic Resin and Calvin Johnson. Their reputation for intricate guitar work remains strong into their career with 2015's "Untethered Moon" and 2022's "When the Wind Forgets Your Name."
