Peggy Seeger, sister of Pete Seeger, born in Washington DC, is a folk icon known for "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," penned by husband Ewan MacColl. A multi-instrumentalist, she's famous for "Gonna Be an Engineer" and "The Ballad of Springhill." With 70 years of music, she has over 100 collaborations, especially with MacColl, and has made England her home.
