Mário Laginha

Mário Laginha, born in Lisbon, Portugal, is a distinguished jazz pianist and composer. His versatile style fuses jazz with Brazilian, Indian, African, pop, rock, and classical elements. He is acclaimed for extensive collaborations, notably with Maria João and Pedro Burmester, and his trios. Laginha's discography includes "Jangada" (2022) and "Foca" (2024). He was honored as Officer of the Order of Infante D. Henrique.
