Camila Meza and KU Jazz Ensemble I

Chilean-born Camila Meza, a jazz singer/songwriter and guitarist, blends post-bop, Latin folk, and progressive fusion. Known for lyrical music influenced by Pat Metheny and Joni Mitchell, she gained fame with "Skylark" (2007) and later albums like "Traces" (2016). She has collaborated with Ryan Keberle and Aaron Goldberg, amongst others, and won two Independent Music Awards.
