Cantus and Canadian Brass

Cantus, a Minneapolis-based eight-member low-voice a cappella ensemble, formed in 1995 at St. Olaf College. Known for its trademark warmth, blend, and innovative conductorless approach, their repertoire spans Renaissance to 21st-century classical, folk, and contemporary music. They champion new works and music education. Awards include Chorus America's Margaret Hillis and Alice Parker Fund Awards. Albums include "Manifesto," "Into the Light," "Alone Together," and "Fields of Wonder." Collaborations feature the Boston Pops and The Swingles.
