Phoenix, Arizona thrash metal band Sacred Reich formed in 1985, known for politically charged, satirical lyrics and an uncompromising attack. Key releases include Ignorance (1987), The American Way (1990) and Independent (1993); they split in 2000 and returned with Awakening (2019).
