Carlinhos Brown and Luiz Caldas

Carlinhos Brown, born in Salvador, Brazil, is a renowned percussionist, composer, and vocalist. Known for blending Brazilian rhythms with international pop, he has written songs for artists like Marisa Monte, Gal Costa, and Daniela Mercury. Over 30 of his tracks reached the Brazilian charts. Brown's collaborations include Sérgio Mendes, whose album won a Grammy, and Herbie Hancock. He founded the successful band Timbalada, promoting social change through music.
