Casket Cassette and Stare Away

Casket Cassette is the Los Angeles-based project of Constant Williams, blending dark 1980s post-punk, darkwave, and synthpop. Williams explores themes of loss and recovery, and also released a poetry collection, Elegy with Beautiful Child, from Milkweed Editions.

Stare Away, a Brooklyn-based solo project by Ben Nelson, crafts a distinctive blend of post-punk, darkwave, and surf-goth. Drawing inspiration from 70s and 80s artists like The Cure and Joy Division, alongside electronic influences, the music explores themes of existential dread and desolate beauty. Popular songs include "My Cathedral," "First Drag," and "Parting Ways." The project is known for its fusion of classic punk with electronic undertones.
