Houston rapper Pedro Herrera III created the comedic, self-parodying Latin rap alter ego Chingo Bling, known as the Tamale Kingpin. He built a regional following by selling mixtapes and released albums like The Tamale Kingpin and They Can't Deport Us All on his Big Chile label.
