Chris Duarte Group

The Chris Duarte Group, originating from Austin, Texas, is celebrated for its ferocious Texas blues-rock, infused with jazz and rock and roll. Led by San Antonio-born guitarist Chris Duarte, known for his powerful playing, the group gained renown for albums such as "Texas Sugar/Strat Magik" and "Ain't Giving Up". Duarte was recognized as "Best New Talent" by Guitar Player magazine and inducted into the Canada Blues Hall of Fame. He has collaborated with artists including Indigenous and Omar & the Howlers.
