Chris Watson

Chris Watson, an English sound artist from Sheffield, is a pioneering figure in electronic music and field recordings. A founding member of Cabaret Voltaire, he is renowned for his immersive sound installations and natural history recordings, often collaborating on David Attenborough's documentaries. His acclaimed albums include "Stepping into the Dark" and "Weather Report". Watson has received multiple BAFTA awards for Best Factual Sound and an honorary Doctor of Technology degree.
