He wrote “Nights in White Satin,” “Tuesday Afternoon,” and “Your Wildest Dreams,” and released solo albums Songwriter and Spirits of the Western Sky. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Moody Blues in 2018.
