Citizens is a Pacific Northwest Christian rock band known for their melody-driven, faith-based alternative rock. Led by Zach Bolen, they blend post-punk, praise & worship, and indie rock. The band, initially linked to Mars Hill Church, debuted in 2011. Popular songs and albums include 2013's eponymous debut, Join the Triumph, A Mirror Dimly, and Fear. Known for their emotional style, they worked with labels like BEC Recordings and Integrity Records. They briefly adopted the name Citizens & Saints before reverting to Citizens.
