Cocoa Brown

Cocoa Brown, born Farah Brown in Newport News, Virginia, is an acclaimed American comedian and actress. Known for her "Grown Woman" delivery and "truth-telling" stand-up, she has been dubbed "The Truth" by fans. She has starred in Tyler Perry's "For Better or Worse" and "The Single Moms Club," and appeared in "Ted 2" and "9-1-1." Brown received the DC Comedian of the Year, the Moms Mabley Legacy Award, and a 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award. Her comedy special "Famous Enough" is widely available.
