Comedian Harmonists

The Comedian Harmonists were a renowned German close harmony ensemble, founded in Berlin in 1927. Inspired by American jazz vocal groups, they blended vocal precision with comedic flair across genres like folk, classical, and popular songs. Famous for hits such as "Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus" and "Veronika, der Lenz ist da," they achieved international acclaim, toured widely, and appeared in 21 films. They were honored with the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis and an honorary Echo Music Prize.
