Avalanche Kaito

Avalanche Kaito is an avant-rock trio fusing Burkinabe griot traditions with Belgian noise punk. Vocalist Kaito Winse, from Burkina Faso, combines with Belgian guitarist Nico Gitto and French drummer Benjamin Chaval, based in Brussels. Known for their intense, genre-bending sound, they released "Avalanche Kaito" (2022) and "Talitakum" (2024). They earned a "Best Group" nomination at the Songlines Magazine Awards.
