Known for championing Florence Price's music, she premiered Price’s Piano Concerto with acclaim. Her recording won a GRAMMY for Best Orchestral Performance. Cann has received the Sphinx Medal of Excellence and Andrew Wolf Award, and she teaches master classes globally.
