Signed by Universal Records, his 2002 album, Undaground Legend, featuring "The Way We Ball," marked him as a rising Southern rap star. Known for his ties to DJ Screw and the Screwed Up Click, Flip is synonymous with the underground Southern rap scene.

Houston rapper Lil' Keke, born Marcus Lakee Edwards, gained fame as DJ Screw's protégé and an original Screwed Up Click member. Known for shaping '90s underground rap, his 1997 hit "Southside" propelled his debut album. Continuously prolific, he's released numerous albums and mixtapes, making a major mark with Swishahouse Records. Recognized for community service by President Obama in 2016.
