London disco DJ collective Horse Meat Disco (Luke Howard, Severino Panzetta, James Hillard and Jim Stanton) launched New Year’s Day 2004 at The Eagle, Vauxhall. The Sunday-night party became a global brand with residencies in Berlin, New York and Lisbon.
The Allergies are DJ/producer duo DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat, known for 45-only vinyl DJ sets. Inspired by classic hip-hop plus funk, soul and disco, they reshape vintage breaks, basslines, horns and dancefloor grooves into their own music.

He hosts a popular BBC Radio 6 Music show, which received a Gold Aria award, and has released "Trunk of Funk" compilation albums.

Omar Lye-Fook, a British soul and neo-soul pioneer, was born in London. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist, he is celebrated for his genre-blending sound of soul, jazz, funk, and Caribbean influences. His hit "There's Nothing Like This" launched his career. He has collaborated with legends like Stevie Wonder and Erykah Badu. An MBE recipient for services to music, his album "Brighter The Days" was released in 2025. He is also an actor.
Born in New York, Nile Rodgers revolutionized music with Chic's disco hits "Le Freak" and "Good Times," and produced for icons like Bowie, Madonna, and Daft Punk. His "chucking" guitar style and countless hits earned him a spot in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Rodgers co-founded the We Are Family Foundation, performed at global festivals, and battled cancer while continuing to release music and collaborate widely.
