Formed in 1966, the pioneering British power trio Cream featured guitarist Eric Clapton, bassist and singer Jack Bruce, and drummer Ginger Baker. Blending blues, pop, and psychedelia, they released notable albums like Disraeli Gears and Wheels of Fire, scoring major hits with Sunshine of Your Love and White Room before disbanding in 1968.
