Formed in 1990 from The Slugs, Crowbar blended doom metal and hardcore into a heavier, deliberate sound. Often tagged sludge metal, they’re a cornerstone of the New Orleans metal scene. Led by sole original member Kirk Windstein, they’ve released 12 acclaimed albums.

Primitive Man, originating from Denver, Colorado in 2012, is an American doom, sludge, and black metal band. They are known for an intensely heavy, abrasive, and nihilistic sound, delivering crushing riffs and a suffocating atmosphere. Notable albums include "Caustic" (2017), "Immersion" (2020), and "Observance" (2025). They also collaborated with Full of Hell on "Suffocating Hallucination" (2023).
