Almost Dead

Formed in Martinez, CA, Almost Dead blends thrash, groove metal, and hardcore inspired by Pantera, Testament, and modern metalcore. Known for intense live shows and Euro tours.

Atheist

Atheist, formed in 1984 in Florida, pioneered progressive death-jazz metal. Known for complex albums like "Piece of Time" and "Unquestionable Presence," they faced adversity but gained lasting respect. Despite limited commercial success, they toured globally and collaborated with Cynic bassist Tony Choy. The tragic death of bassist Roger Patterson marked their journey. They disbanded after releasing "Elements" in 1993.
