The Crystal Method, co-founded in 1993 by Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan, pioneered the big beat genre. The GRAMMY-nominated electronic act debuted with the platinum album Vegas in 1997. After Jordan retired in 2017, Kirkland continued the project as a solo act.

Stanton Warriors

Bristol duo Mark Yardley and Dominic Butler, known as Stanton Warriors, broke through in 2001 with multi award-winning compilation The Stanton Sessions. They’ve released on XL, Fabric and Universal, and remixed Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, MIA and Gorillaz.
