Current 93, led by David Tibet, emerged from the industrial music scene blending Gothic chanting, folk, and experimental sounds. Tibet frequently collaborates with artists like Steven Stapleton and John Balance. Since the 1980s, the prolific project has released numerous albums, including Black Ships Ate the Sky and Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain, while evolving from industrial noise into acoustic and dreamlike folk.
