D/troit, a soul and funk band hailing from Copenhagen, gained recognition with their EP "Do The Right Thing." Craig Charles named them his favorite new band and featured them on BBC shows. They won Best New Band at the Scandinavian Soul Music Awards in 2016. Their song "Soul Thing" was in a Heineken ad and multiple films. Gabe Roth of Daptone Records mixed their album "Soul Sound System," adding to their acclaim.
