John Patitucci, born in Brooklyn, is a renowned jazz bassist known for his work in various genres. A 4-time Grammy winner, he's collaborated with legends like Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Corea, and Alicia Keys. As a composer, he has sixteen solo albums and writes for chamber groups and orchestras. Notable projects include the John Patitucci Electric Guitar Quartet and collaborations with the Harlem String Quartet.
