Formed in Helsinki in 1990, Finnish heavy metal sextet Amorphis is known for expanding musical and lyrical boundaries. The band’s 15th studio album, Borderland, was produced by Danish producer Jacob Hansen.

Fires in the Distance

Connecticut melodic/melancholic death metal band Fires In The Distance are known for a synth-embroidered sound. Their third album, Circadian Promise, was made with producer Dave Kaminsky and orchestration maestro Randy Slaugh and features vocalist/guitarist Brendan Hayter.
