Lionel Loueke, born in Benin, blends West African traditions with post-bop jazz. Known for emotive jazz solos, he gained fame with Herbie Hancock's Grammy-winning "River: The Joni Letters." Loueke's albums, including "Gaia" and "HH," showcase his jazz innovation. He has collaborated with Terence Blanchard, Norah Jones, and Angélique Kidjo and is praised for his unique global sound.
