Benoit has released numerous Top Ten jazz albums, collaborated with artists like Russ Freeman and Dave Koz, and worked on orchestral projects like 2022's "A Midnight Rendezvous." Notable works include the Vince Guaraldi tribute "Here's to You, Charlie Brown!" and the collaborative "David Benoit & Friends." His music encompasses elements of funk, fusion, and electronica.
