David Lowery with Cicada Rhythm and Camper Van Beethoven

David Lowery, born in San Antonio, TX, and raised in Redlands, CA, led Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker, gaining fame in '80s-'90s alternative rock. Known for eclectic styles blending folk, punk, and rock with offbeat lyrics, CVB found underground success with "Take the Skinheads Bowling."
